    Causes

    • This condition occurs when body’s immune system reacts against its own central nervous cells in the CNS (central nervous system). This condition is mostly misdiagnosed as multiple sclerosis.
    • The exact cause is not known, but usually appears after an infection or associated with other autoimmune diseases.
